Victaulic users have reduced their downtime by as much as 50% versus flanged systems. Components are reusable unlike flanges where gaskets must frequently be replaced. And since only 2 bolts and nuts need to be removed on systems 12"/300mm and down your time to access the system is minimized. Abrasive Services One of the most demanding applications in most mines are the abrasive services . Victaulic offers three distinct solutions -- Cut grooved pipe - Removes metal from pipe OD providing a smooth internal flow path. Works with any standard Victaulic coupling. Victaulic Depend-O-Lok products mount to the OD of the pipe and offer unrestrained, restrained, and expansion joints. Full pipe wall thickness is maintained while offering up to 3 degrees of deflection at each joint (depending on the joint specified). Vic-Ring couplings also mount to the OD of the pipe and provide up to 1/2"/12.7mm of deflection at each joint. Full wall thickness is maintained providing a smooth flow path.
