The introduction of the Vic-Flange® Adapter and stainless steel rigid coupling to the AGS product line ensures that this large diameter product range offers users a total package solution for any HVAC and industrial process piping installation. Offering unprecedented performance and reliability thanks to an innovative patented design, AGS is now the company’s strongest pipe joining system for large diameter pipe.

Ideal for HVAC and industrial process piping applications, the Victaulic Advanced Groove System is available from 350mm – 600mm and is designed with performance, speed and ease of installation in mind. With a two-piece housing, requiring only two fixing bolts and a new wedge-shaped groove that delivers pressure ratings up to 350 psi (24 bar), the Advanced Groove System offers unprecedented assembly speed and reliability. In addition, the coupling also provides visual confirmation of correct assembly via a metal-to-metal bolt-pad design, ensuring ultimate product inspectability.

The addition of the Style W741 Vic-Flange Adapter, enables flanged components with ANSI CL. 125/150 bolt-hole patterns to be accommodated within a Victaulic grooved end installation. The Style W741 provides a rigid joint when used on pipe with AGS roll groove or cut groove dimensions and consequently does not allow linear or angular movement at the joint. The Style W741, rated up to 300 psi/2065 kPa, is available in sizes ranging from 350 – 600mm.

To complement the existing range, Victaulic has also added the Style W89 AGS Rigid Coupling, which is designed for use exclusively with stainless steel pipe Schedule S10 or higher. Developed for use with

HVAC and industrial applications to provide an inflexible joint, the Style W89 coupling greatly reduces linear and angular movement through the use of wedge-shaped coupling housing keys which fully engage the grooves to provide rigidity on valve connections and other points.

Available in sizes 350-600mm, and for pressures up to 300 psi/2065kPa, the Style W89 couplings are provided with plated bolts and nuts and FlushSeal® gasket Grade “E” EPDM for multiple uses. Grade “T” nitrile and Grade “L” silicone are also available. Dependent on gasket grade, the Style W89 couplings are suitable for various temperatures ranging from -30ºF/-34ºC to 350ºF/177ºC.

In addition to streamlining coupling assembly, the Victaulic Advanced Groove System also simplifies pipe-end preparation by using a unique single groove profile that is designed to eliminate the possibility of pipe-end flare. Specific AGS roll sets are used with existing Victaulic tools, the only tools on the market capable of grooving up to 1200mm. All Victaulic grooving tools are designed and manufactured by Victaulic.
