Speedy Fire Protection Thanks to Victaulic
Victaulic, the world leader in pipe joining system manufacture, this month has launched into the UK and Europe its fastest fire protection rigid coupling – the FireLock EZ™ Style 009V. This revolutionary coupling carries listings and approvals from VdS, LPCB, UL and FM.
The design of the new Style 009V FireLock EZ™ coupling dramatically cuts installation time and offers contractors an easy way to increase productivity, efficiency and profitability. Style 009V rigid couplings are VdS and LPCB rated to 16 bar/1600kPa/232 psi in nominal sizes 32mm – 100mm (1 ¼”-4”/actual OD 42.2mm-114.3mm).
Based on feedback from fire protection contractors, FireLock EZ™ is designed as a lightweight, installation-ready coupling with no loose parts. It is not necessary to disassemble the coupling for installation, and the angled-bolt pad design enables pad-to-pad assembly without the need for a torque requirement, as well as providing visual confirmation of proper installation once fitted.
FireLock EZ™ also features a unique gasket system, making it ideal for wet and dry Fire Protection systems.
