Benefits of Grooved Technology in Shipbuilding Featured in Marine Engineers Review

The September issue of Marine Engineers Review published an article by Didier Vassal, Vice-President of OEM and Maritime Services at Victaulic, introducing grooved technology and the benefits it provides to the maritime sector. The benefits include ease of installation, increased safety, reduced noise and vibration and weight and space savings.

Marine Engineers Review is published 10 times a year by the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and covers topics such as marine propulsion technology, including main engines and auxiliaries, drive systems, fuel and lubricants. MER has a circulation of more than 11,000 and has a primary readership of engineers, engineering superintendents and technical managers/directors. Geographical distribution is 69 pecent Europe and Scandinavia, 21 percent Asia, six percent America, three percent Middle East and one percent Africa.
