Arab Water World featured an article in February 2011 highlighting the advantages the Victaulic Advanced Grooved System (AGS) provides over other pipe joining systems. Victaulic mechanical joints can be assembled in remote areas because they require no power tools, can withstand any type of weather condition, and do not require flame during construction—a hazard in especially dry areas. The superior strength and reliability of the AGS allow up to a 40-percent increase in end load carrying capabilities, making it well suited for carrying water.
