Victaulic will showcase its patented installation-ready product line and Advanced Groove System (AGS) product line at the Utrecht VSK 2012 trade fair, Hall 04 stand D022. Both product lines give contractors, engineers and owners an unmatched competitive edge, cutting installation time and making projects safer.
Installation-ready technology is designed to address the industry’s need to compress project schedules and remain competitive. It is the fastest and safest pipe-joining method currently available. The installation-ready coupling installs up to ten times faster than other
pipe-joining methods such as welding, brazing, soldering or flanging.
Installation-ready couplings require fewer steps to install, resulting in consistently faster pipe joints, which allows contractors to optimize crew size and better manage their labour risk.
Also on display will be the Victaulic patented Advanced Groove System (AGS), the strongest and most dependable mechanical piping joining system for DN 350-DN 1525mm size piping systems. With a two-piece housing and a wedge-shaped groove that delivers pressure ratings up to 2,400 kPa, Victaulic AGS couplings offer exceptional assembly speed and reliability.
Victaulic is the only manufacturer to offer a two-piece housing for couplings in this size range. Large-diameter joints that require several hours to weld can be installed easily in a fraction of the time using AGS couplings.
In addition to simplified and faster installation, Victaulic couplings, fittings and valves offer further advantages. Lighter in weight yet with higher integral strength, they require less space than traditional products, minimizing the plant room footprint while maximizing HVAC system performance. The use of flexible couplings around equipment (such as pumps and chillers) also provides noise and vibration attenuation for the life of the system. They eliminate rubber bellows which are costly to install and will need replacing at ten-year intervals on average.
Visitors stopping by the Victaulic stand D022 in Hall 04 can see a pump set-up with Victaulic products installed which demonstrates these benefits. They will also benefit from on-site roll-grooving demonstrations utilizing Victaulic roll-grooving tools.
