Victaulic Opens New Facility in India
Investment in new branch at Pune will better serve region and country
PUNE, INDIA (December 5, 2012) – Victaulic, the world’s leading supplier of mechanical pipe joining solutions, today announced the opening of its new facility and distribution center in Pune.
Victaulic now has 15 production facilities and 28 branches globally and the investment in Pune will strengthen its distribution capability to better serve an expanding customer base in India. The new 40,000 square foot/3,700 square meter facility includes extensive storage and local operations offices as well as visitor demonstration areas that will increase capabilities for customer demonstrations and installer training.
Recent Victaulic successes have included a complete fire protection system install for Tetra Pak India Pvt Ltd in Pune, as well as projects for BMW in Chennai and CISCO in Bangalore.
“The opening of the new branch signifies the growth of Victaulic in India and will help us meet the strong demand for our products in the region,” said Mark Gilbert, Vice President and General Manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Easy, safe to install and environmentally friendly, Victaulic piping solutions have a significant impact on the construction industry worldwide. The company takes sustainability extremely seriously and is a Founding Member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), as well as being involved with other international initiatives including the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM).
The Victaulic Mumbai branch will continue to handle other aspects of business, including project design, technical and financial analysis, 3D modeling, installation plans and project management.

The Pune facility is the most recent addition to Victaulic global investments and follows the new locations in Dalian, China; Queretaro, Mexico; and Chihuahua, Mexico.
