Cayeli Copper Mine
Cayeli Copper Mine is owned and operated by Inmet Mining in Rize City, Turkey, and is the largest exporter of minerals in Rize province, producing 1 million tons per year. Victaulic products were chosen for a variety of different system installations including instrument air, process air, pressurised water, drainage, slurry, tailing lines, fire protection and paste fill. Victaulic provided Cayeli with a speedy, easy installation of a system that can be easily maintained. Victaulic flexible couplings were used extensively to compensate for the uneven laying surfaces found in mining operations. Additionally flexible couplings have deflection capabilities that can reduce the number of fittings on the system.
