E-Vento Acqua
E- Vento Acqua invests, develops and manages energy plants using all the latest and most sustainable technologies. Their newest project is a wood scrap fed co-generation plant for the production of 1 MW of electricity. Engine exhaust is used to power a district heating network that will serve the city of Castiglione dei Pepoli.
The contractors were looking for an alternative joining solution that would allow for greater ease and speed of installation, the grooved system by Victaulic did just that. The benefits of the “Installation–Ready” Style 107 coupling also helped to compress the construction schedule as well as reduce the impact on roads practicability involved for the excavation. The Series 761 Vic-300 MasterSeal Butterfly Valve and Series 726 Vic-Ball Valve also added to ease and speed of installation on the project. As a result, labor savings and tight schedule were achieved based on E-Vento Acqua/Idrotek/Ettore Borelli's decision to use the grooved system by Victaulic on this project.
