Goetzman Energy Plant Palm Beach Atlantic University
In 1999, Palm Beach Atlantic University located in West Palm Beach, Florida looked to install a chilled water system at its energy plant. Like other warm coastal regions, the chilled piping system required that the piping be insulated, and both the contractor and engineer were afraid of cost and capability of proper insulation. By using Victaulic piping systems on this project, the mechanical contractor was able to reduce totaled installed costs, provide for noise and vibration attenuation and make the system easier to access, install and maintain.
