Reliant Stadium
Reliant Stadium is home of the Houston Texans and the Houston Rodeo in Houston, Texas. This domed facility has a retractable roof structure and 75,000 seats. The Victaulic grooved system, including valves up to 24"/610.0 mm, was utilized on the chilled and heating water lines, as well as the plumbing lines and roof drains. Expansion joints, utilizing a high concentration of flexible couplings, were used to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction within the system. Due to the ease and speed of installation, the contractor was able to finish the stadium prior to the start of the football season.
