Buildings Magazine Highlights Overall Benefit of Grooved Piping for Safety, Sustainability and Speed

In its June issue, Buildings features an article based on an interview with Erick Bacher, engineering specialist at Victaulic, which covers the benefits of grooved piping systems. In addition to highlighting the use of Victaulic in a range of structures, from the Burj Khalifa to the Hoover Dam, the article positions grooved piping as the safe and easy option for joining over welding. The maintenance benefits of grooved piping are highlighted, particularly for occupied spaces where safety and speed matter. Additionally, the flexibility of the systems in the field is mentioned, and the minimization of noise and vibration is also covered. Finally, the sustainability benefits of grooved piping are mentioned, and a photo of the Alberici Group’s headquarters is included as an example of a top LEED certified project that used Victaulic. Buildings is a top publication in North America, and reaches 219,300 professionals in commercial and institutional building ownership and facilities management. The monthly magazine covers achievement and strategies of industry players, building materials and their applications and patterns in the marketplace.
