Posted on December 25, 2018

As our family, friends, customers and employees around the world gather to celebrate this holiday season and the final days of 2018, we are counting down to a monumental milestone of our own. Today marks 100 days until Victaulic’s mechanical coupling patent turns 100 years old – an anniversary of innovation, i.e. our “innoversary!”

On April 4th, 1919, Lieutenant Ernest Tribe filed the first patent for The Victory Joint, which is now known as the Victaulic coupling. On this day, Victaulic’s spirit and commitment to innovation was born, a philosophy which has inspired every decision and guided each technological advancement over the past 100 years. Today, Victaulic holds more than 2,000 patents, offers 100,000+ solutions and boasts over one billion products installed globally.

For the past 100 years, Victaulic has been committed to customer collaboration and continuous improvement. Creating innovative solutions for the construction industry marks Victaulic’s approach – an approach which we intend to maintain and commit to for the next 100 years.

As you reflect and celebrate all that 2018 has afforded, please join us in our 100-day countdown to Victaulic’s 100 Years of Innovation!
