Eighth Avenue Place, a 50-story tower located in Canada, has become a landmark in the skyline of Calgary. The newly constructed tower was awarded LEED Gold precertification, and provides over 1.8 million square feet of commercial office space for the city’s growing business community.

On May 31, 2011 Osisko Mining Corporation, a leader in exploration and mining in Quebec, inaugurated the Canadian Malartic gold mine, a large-scale open pit mine located in Malartic, Abitibi. Construction began in late 2009 and it is Osisko's first mine to go into production. Osisko estimates it will extract more than 9 million ounces of gold from now until 2027.

ZeaChem will be one of the first cellulosic demonstration plants built in the United States. The plant will produce Ethanol, glacial acetic acid, and commercial grade ethyl acetate from poplar trees. ZeaChem will produce products from organic materials that will be a direct replacement for similar petroleum based products for refining, consumer products, paint and chemical industries.

The construction of the new First Energy – W. H. Sammis Power Plant in Empire, Ohio included the installation of two Babcock & Wilcox wet scrubbers to reduce SO² emissions. After cost comparisons and performance and maintenance tests by the Victaulic sales team, First Energy decided to install the Victaulic Style 220 317LMN alloy scrubber nozzle couplings.

BOHAI SHI JI, a DnV classed Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) vessel is located in the QHD32-6 field development in Bohai Bay China, in a water depth of 20m. The mooring system is designed to produce a total of 270,000 Barrels Per Day (BPD) of combined fluids including 80,000 BPD of crude oil.

By installing the Victaulic grooved products on the steel and fiberglass reinforced oil and water handling lines, Merit Energy was able to meet the high pressure requirements of the system while also experiencing ultimate cost savings over competitive joining systems.

Due to the large crowds housed in the arena, as well as the “cannot fail” equipment such as the scoreboard and announcement system, a dependable, easily installed and easy to maintain fire protection system was required.

When one of the most luxurious cruise ships in the world, the Celebrity Eclipse, operated by Celebrity Cruises, needed a quick upgrade in the Port of Malaga, the contractor, Servyman del Estrecho S.L. and system provider, Mahle – Industrial Filtration, relied on Victaulic piping solutions to meet the operator’s demanding time schedule.

Bridgestone Europe has expanded the Poznan, Poland, manufacturing and warehouse facility in an effort to increase the volume of tires produced and stored at the location.

In July 2010, the first phase of construction was completed at the new Alcon research, development, and manufacturing facility. The building also includes a state-of-the-art clean room and office space.

Amongst the newest Toronto luxury hotels, the Ritz-Carlton is an architectural icon standing at 53 stories tall. Located in the heart of the city's financial district and mere steps from the CN Tower and the Entertainment District, the new hotel features 267 rooms and 159 condominium residences.

The Owen Sound Hospital was built in 1984 with Victaulic products used to join many of the original piping systems. In January 2010, the hospital undertook a new project to add cooling capacity that included larger cooling towers, chillers and piping systems.
