Victaulic is excited to introduce the latest innovation in pipe joining. The new Style HP-170 Rigid Coupling is built for improved constructability and high performance in both low and high-pressure applications. An ANSI Class 600# coupling, it boasts a higher rating compared to other Class 600 flanges with faster installation, courtesy of one-touch tightening and pre-assembled coupling and hardware. The HP-170 is compatible with EndSeal™ (ES) or Original Groove System (OGS) groove profile compatibility and has built-in safeguards against over-torquing and over-tightening via install indicators.

Installation-Ready™ Technology

The HP-170 is a part of Victaulic’s Installation-Ready™ technology. The single-unit design provides fast, easy pipe connections, and reduces the number of loose parts to drop or misplace. Prior to Installation-Ready™, to install a grooved coupling the coupling itself needed to be completely disassembled and then reassembled onto the pipe ends, slowing down project completion. Now, with Victaulic’s patented Installation-Ready™ technology the grooved couplings and fittings come preassembled; only needing to be pushed onto a grooved pipe end and joined by a second pipe end, with the nuts and bolts being tightened afterward.
