BIM Software Expertise Helps Poole & Kent Finish Ahead of Schedule

With the help of Victaulic’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team and their BIM software expertise, the Poole & Kent Corporation successfully installed the HVAC infrastructure in Baltimore’s newest and tallest residential building 15 days ahead of schedule.

 

When Poole & Kent took on the installation of the HVAC piping system at 414 Light Street in Baltimore, Maryland, the project was already behind schedule, and residents were set to move into the luxury apartment complex in just 10 months. The 44-story building had extreme spatial constraints, including low ceilings and a penthouse mechanical room, which complicated system design and demanded extensive planning to complete the project in only 65 days.
