2018 Distinguished Citizen Award

On May 8, the Boy Scouts of America, Minsi Trails Council honored John F. Malloy, Chairman, President & CEO of Victaulic with the 2018 Distinguished Citizen Award during the Lehigh Valley Leadership Dinner. The event also recognized Victaulic and its employees for their significant achievements and service to the Lehigh Valley community.

Victaulic has a strong partnership with the Minsi Trails Council through our Engineering Explorer Post 1919 program, a hands-on experience that focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines.

Community Development

The Lehigh Valley Leadership Dinner raises vital funds to support local scouting programs throughout the year. The Minsi Trails Council provides leadership and character development programs to more than 10,000 youth throughout the Anthracite Region, Pocono Mountains and Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, along with Western New Jersey.

Congratulations to Mr. Malloy (also a boy scout) for receiving the Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award and thank you to all of our Victaulic employees who have supported the Post 1919 program. Victaulic is excited to continue working with the Scouts BSA to build character, leadership, and achievement in local youth!
