Piping Partnership Helps Contractor Finish Project in 10 Weeks

Posted on August 28, 2018

Every contractor needs the right tools and the right technology to complete his project on-time and on budget. For Shinn Mechanical, one of the most well-respected contractors in the Pacific Northwest, that perfect pairing came courtesy of a partnership with Milwaukee Tools and Victaulic.

Tasked with installing a two-mile drain piping system in the Seattle SR 99 tunnel, Shinn relied on Milwaukee’s M18 FUEL™ cordless tools and Victaulic’s Installation-Ready™ coupling technology to help their team succeed in a challenging environment. And succeed they did. The entire pipeline was hydrotested without a single leak.

“Pairing Victaulic couplings with Milwaukee tools allowed us to finish a job scheduled to take eight months in only 10 weeks,” said Mike Shinn, the founder of Shinn Mechanical.
